In a nutshell, painting outdoor items only requires a coat or two of paint: no Soft Wax is required! Just paint, add stencils if you like using Chalk Paint®, let dry and done. No extra protection is needed and your piece will weather beautifully for years. The planters above have been outdoors for two winters and still look exactly the same.
